The Fed runs the Museum Essentials Training Programme, designed to offer sector specific training to its
Institutional and Personal members. The courses on offer have been tailored to your needs, based upon
requirement and demand. The programme is sponsored by Renaissance Yorkshire.
We are also partners in delivering the Rapid Response Network Training Programme (RRN) which is
supported by a £50,000 grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund awarded to the Yorkshire Medium Museum
Services network [YoMMS]. This programme will assist museums in coping with emergencies and disasters
such as those faced in the floods of 2007. The Fed administers the programme.
The MLA are also running a series of events in the region through their Strategic Commissioning
Programme which provide cross sectoral CPD opportunities.You can find all training courses on our

galleries held within the region.
