Funding is never easy to get, and in the current climate, it is getting harder and harder to access. There are however still pots of money out there. Everyone knows about HLF and Arts Council, but what about other pots, where else can you go?

This course will focus on local charities, smaller grant givers and more unusual sources of funding. Perhaps you are looking for that ten thousand pounds for a project, or a few thousand to help you spruce up your interpretation, or even a couple of hundred to help you deliver and event, this course will give you some ideas.

There will be a practical session too. You can put some of your fundraising skills to the test by writing an application on the day which will be judged by people with experience of reviewing fundraising applications. Feedback will be given and a prize will be awarded to the best application.
